I wrote all of the lyrics to nyc nighttime feeling only to wake up one day hating them. I'm almost done rewriting them and I hope I don't wake up hating it again
——my current dream is to sing with an orchestra (bonus points if it's one of my songs)
——if anyone knows a drummer in nyc PLEASE send them my way
——I had a GREAT production session on seven times and I feel like this will be a single nvm im meh on it again
tracklist
I made this website as sort of a companion piece to the album I'm working on, sisyphus, which focuses on recurring struggle through broken systems like technology and capitalism. In short, my music is alt-pop with 80s and 00s influences. In long, I get bored easily so I draw from several genres, so there's jazz influence throughout the album, I'm throwing in a hyperpop song, and there's a song in 7/4
This is very much a passion project, but I'm also passionate about people and collaboration, and I'd much rather push this boulder with others. Here's how:
- Producers: I write and sing, and I want someone who would love to contribute to shaping the sound.
- Instrumentalists: Wanna rehearse with me and play these (and other!) songs live around NYC?
- Artists/writers/creatives of any kind: Make a companion piece to the album! The prompt: a future you'd want to live in that actually feels feasible given where we are currently. My goal is for all of us release our works at the same time, likely spring-summer 2027
- Anyone: If tech, capitalism, nyc, any of it feels like the same hill every day, I want to hear how that shows up for you.
You can reach me on my contact form and tell me which one applies to you. Excited to hear from you!

untitled xiii
the first song I wrote when I got back into songwriting
you may have heard this one live!
the title is a reference to the death/untitled tarot card
lobotomy
it's songs like this that make me unsure what genre of music I actually make
the chorus is me shrieking "give me a lobotomy" over and over.
do I actually have the vocal range for this song? unclear
imposter
sort of about imposter syndrome but also about a lot of other things.
initially planned on this being R&B or gospel but have now landed on blues?
figuring out the genre of this song has been a PAIN
goldenI had a lot of ideas for this one but I already wrote a whole album about my brain and my feelings, and the goal with this album is to look a little more outward
my mother's a dragon
lyrically my favorite one so far.
I'd been wanting to experiment more with abstract lyrics so this was a fun exercise (even if I couldn't stick with it the whole way through)
lately I've not been that into playing piano but I do play a piano outro in this
bless your heart
there's not enough music about friend breakups
the title felt like a nice nod to my southern upbringing
interlude: incel asmr
an interlude!! this one should be interesting.
i've never made asmr but i'm gonna try my best
inspired by my day job
unemployed again
kicking the coffin open, but sarcastic and jazzy
seeming like vocally this is gonna be one of my favorites
nyc nighttime feeling
I really just wanted to pretend to be a hyperpop artist for a little bit.
I just overhauled the lyrics because I'm still trying to figure out what exactly my goal is with this one.
seven times
a love song that's less about the actual love and more about learning to trust myself while dating
by far has had the most production sessions mainly cause of unfamiliarity with city pop
the subject of this song knows it's about them. they better be flattered!
dancing in the rainngl I just wasn't feeling it
h.a.g.s!
inspired by a trip to austin for my friends' wedding.
I suggested this name for a collaborative song and I'm SO glad we didn't use it so I could use it for myself
alignment
in 7/4 which has actually been such a fun challenge!
been thinking a lot about AI and the future which will likely show up here.
what if?
it's really just an idea at the moment, a concept if you will.
one of the few songs where my voice will not be big.
this song doesn't exist yet and I'm already dreaming about singing it with an orchestra and choir
everything bagel
I am EXCITED for this one if I can just get it right
very much an ode to my time in nyc
- 10/7/26 - I was playing a board game called magical athletes and out of the 36 character options I kept getting none other than sisyphus... he is following me....
- 10/7/26 - actually nvm on the bluesky idea cause idk what to do with that BUT I'm trying to organize some collaborations as part of the album, we'll see how this goes
- 9/16/26 - OKAY BUT imagine if I started making music videos and then linked them here and had like a dvd selection screen sorta deal to navigate to the videos? creating my own digital world has been so fun wow
- 9/11/26 - had the idea to link github commits for this site to x/threads/bluesky but apparently with x it'd cost like $100 a year (boo elon) and with meta it'd take a month of approvals (boo zuck) so if I do this it will be with bluesky (the people's princess). would've done it today but my back started hurting (even with the standing desk)
- 8/31/26 - saw coyote vs acme in theaters and such a fun movie! also I fully freaked out when I saw that sisyphus was kind of a huge theme in the movie because evidently I've been thinking about him quite a bit
list of inspirations! not all of these have made or will make the final cut, but they're all important parts of the journey!
